About Oliver's Itch and How to get involved...
Oliver’s Itch is an alternative, evolving, transient and completely unique project based around the songwriting, vocals and worldly adventures of
It’s an insanely global musical adventure with a different incarnation of the band forming to record 1-2 songs and one video (unique to the particular people and places involved) on a country by country basis…so that there could be European, Australasian, American, African etc incarnations of the band.
As a collective project Oliver’s Itch is completely inclusive of all involved particularly on the musical and visual front and the end result at each stage and overall will be the sum of the vision and efforts of everyone concerned.
The first two Oliver’s Itch songs have been written and recorded, the first song ‘The Feast Of Saint Anthony’ is fully recorded and the video for the song is complete - to check it out visit: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=LpgdB99FipY
The second song ‘Sold Heart Found’ has the main vocal and rhythm guitar recorded but will be the last song completed to celebrate the culmination of the project.

Questions that could be frequently asked but then again might not!!
Whats in it for me?
Money? No…Oliver’s Itch cannot and will not get involved with any record or publishing contract until the project is completed…so for now there’s no money to make or share. If we ever do then all involved will receive their fair share…BUT this project is not about that!
Fame? You’ll always be famous in our books anyway…though saying that, if it does lead onto bigger and better things for you don’t forget us???
Adulation? Probably not but then again stranger things have happened…
So what is in it for me??? What Oliver’s Itch is about is passion, creativity and doing something that’s truly different – those of us already involved would like to think that everyone benefits in some way shape or form and certainly being a part of a project like this (if every phase is as successful as the Dublin phase) would definitely advance the career prospects of sound engineers, film makers or musicians involved (either in terms of exposure or building up your experience) equally if you want to help with the business and practical end of things it could be hugely beneficial to your industry CV too...but what I personally hope is that people with a passion for music and creativity would want to see something beautiful completed collectively...and hopefully leave a small cultural footprint of what we’ve done.
